About a film

NOTTING HILL PROJECT



TASK 1


  1. Storyline
-El somni de tot home es fa realitat per en William Tracker, un amo sense èxit d’ una llibreria de Notting Hill, quan Anna Scott, la noia més bonica del planeta i millor actriu, entra a la seva botiga. Més tard quan ell mateix encara no pot creure’s el que ha passat, és creua amb ella de nou, aquest cop vessant-li el suc de taronja per sobre. L’Anna accepta anar al seu apartament, que esta a prop, a canviar-se, i li dona les gràcies amb un petó, el qual sembla sorprendre-li més a ella que a ell. Finalment l’Anna i el William s’arriben a conèixer millor durant aquests mesos, però estar amb la dona més volguda del món no és fàcil , tampoc al voltant dels teus amics més propers, ni davant de l’agressiva premsa.

STUDENT 1: Notting Hill Carnival


Every August bank holiday the streets of west London celebrate Europe biggest street festival.
The first notting hill carnival, was celebrated in 1964,and about 500 people attended the festival. Nowadays, you can expect to see one million people enjoying this hudge party. Its got Calypso music, and tempting food stalls.
Every day of notting hill carnival is different. On Sunday is a perfect day to spend it with your family. The day starts with some dance, drummers and bands.
Monday is the day when the people continues the carnival after parties, so its maybe a little more old-young people evening.
STUDENT 2: Portobello Market and famous restaurants
Is one of the most popular markets in the world. The market is in the street “Portobello Road”, this is the reason why the market has that name. This market starts in the 1837 and you only can go at the weekend because is only at Saturday and Sunday.
Famous restaurants:
-Portobello Gold Restaurant: The food is excellent but the establishment is too dark and cold.
-Notting Hill Kitchen: The clients there were very satisfied for the food but not for the service.
-The Sun In Splendour: The food is a bit expensive but the establishment is very amazing.
